A close relative of the Clam these smaller shellfish have a pale and tender flesh. The Cockle shell itself is normal white or dark grey in appearance and a rippled outer texture. Our Cockles are a popular choice for restaurants serving pasta dishes and sauces as they can compliment any meal.
Our Cockles are wild and have been hand raked from the shallows of Poole Harbour, our Cockles are fished in a sustainable manor to help not deplete stocks.
